A campus officer brought KKK flyers to San Bernadino Valley College to make others aware that such material was being circulated. Arthur Johnson, a black security officer, took one of the flyers, put it in his own mailbox, and claimed to be a victim of racism from his colleagues. Then he confessed. However, he said "You know I'm no fool or anything. You know I had a reason".
The chancellor of the college said the college board of trustees had been totally demoralized by being accused of racism.
