A man has been arrested after election posters that portrayed Jewish people as “Labour’s monsters” were posted around London.
Scotland Yard has been investigating posters in Tower Hamlets, east London, that were put up during the local elections in May, after a complaint that they stirred up racial hatred of Jews.
According to the complaint, one of the posters, which stated that “Labour are complicit in genocide”, appeared to “frame the Labour Party as acting in the service of Israeli government policy”.
