summary
Two Jewish teenagers were charged with criminal mischief for painting swastikas and anti-Semitic graffiti on a home and cars, plus burglary and theft.
They were not charged with hate crimes, however, because, according to Det Sgt Robert Holmes, "It's tough to prove their actions are anti-Semitic if they are both Jewish". One criminologist siad the incidents might have been intended to arouse the local Jewish community.
