Matthew Schultz, a student, wrote “Gonna shoot all black people…….. A smile tomorrow.” Another student allegedly sent a screenshot the post on YikYak to the police, but altered so it only showed the first five words.
Police arrested the student for domestic terror, a 20-year felony, although he was later charged with disturbing the peace, a misdemeanor.
The charges were ultimately dismissed.
