Improvements to site - 'Join' sends confimation email, 'Contact' works, 'show password', improved CSS, and old reports have been restored

The purpose of this site is to compile a comprehensive database of the false reports of "hate crimes" committed (mostly) in the USA. It builds on the work of Laird Wilcox, whose Crying Wolf (PDF) is the original book on this subject. The books Hate Crime Hoax and Hate Crimes: Criminal Law & Identity Politics are recommended.

Summary: A Jewish woman and her Catholic husband awoke to find a fire in the shape of a swastika on their lawn. A Jewish 19 yr old confessed, but implicated a friend. Before the confession, there was much speculation and outcry.
