Summary: There have been several spectacular apparent antisemitic incidents in Australia recently, including swastika graffiti and a caravan full of explosives and antisemitic messages. On 19/1/25, the prime minister said "foreign actors" may have paid local crooks to carry out these crimes. No-one has been charged, but the suspects are "low-level crooks" with no history of politics. It is difficult to understand how genuine violent antisemites would be motivated or able to carry out attacks on this scale.
